Expensive, but much more durable than the cheesy shears I've used in the past. Just remember to wipe off and put away after every use to prevent corrosion...wouldn't want to have to buy these twice!

This is my second pair! Sadly I think my first pair got mixed in with the yard waste one season... as they disappeared and were not to be found. I love these so much I had to buy another exact pair. My hands sometimes ache after too much gardening with my old pruners... these however fit my hand so nicely and the cuts glide so smoothly that I no longer have weary hands. I will say however that they are such a great pair of shears, that I have had to store them separately from my other tools to keep my well intentioned DH or teens from using and losing! Never have had any rust or signs of wearing out. While I realize they are more expensive than most - they are well worth it.
