This sweeper is super for a daily cleanup of our camp. I have several batteries. It does take time to clean out the dog hair, but it cleans amazingly well, fast and easy

I like the swivel motion and how lightweight it is. It cleans my floors great!
I use it on all my hard surface floors.

I love the swivel sweeper and have had several of them. They are not meant to be deep cleaning, but is a good everyday cleaner. I love it most because it gets into spots no other sweeper can, unless you use the a hose and brush on a regular sweeper.

The Max is noticeably more powerful with longer lasting batteries than the original, delightfully light, maneuverable, and easy to use. It will make fast work of tree needles and kitty litter - neither of which I want in my HEPA bagged vacuum cleaner. It is not fair to compare this to a vacuum cleaner - it isn't. It's a sweeper, and it sweeps very well on a surprising array of surfaces (including carpet).

However, I have had them fail (prematurely I think) and need replacing when the brushes get longer hairs and threads wrapped on them. The designers included a brilliant feature to address this: all of the bushes are easily popped out for cleaning, making cleaning a literal snap. You just need to do it with some regularity and monitor them. You will fry the motor if you don't. Definitely easier to clean than a vacuum clogged with tree needles!

So 4 stars - just because it doesn't have a built in stress warning when the brushes start to drag due to wrapped debris, and will just chug on until it dies. But I have found nothing better for ease of use and value on the market.

We just got our second Swivel Sweeper in 20 years. The original is the quickest lightest fastest kitchen floor cleanup in the histor of kitchen's - its five removable brushes (with perfect stiffness for floors and carpets ) are like four fast rotating mini brooms that fling all the floor stuff into one dustpan. The new one performed exactly the same. This is our superlight surface sweeper that collects all our crumbs off our small rugs and hard ktichen floor areas in less than 5 minutes after each meal and simply drops them into a waste can. We also have several new highly rated vacuums that are good but harder to handle. Cleaning their filters and insides takes time and they are much and harder to move around objects - but great for weekly deep cleaining carpets and now floors using a roller system . On the Swivel Sweeper hair will wrap on some the brushes but it takes seconds to pull off. We use Swivel Sweeper max (now) for quicj daily kitchen floor pickup.
