cant get the slow speed-- wonderful sound--
Sorry I bought this, Junk
Linda Ferguson•September 9, 2015
I will admit to reading the reviews before buying this item, and there were some good and bad reports, and I chose to order. I totally regret this purchase and would return it in the blink of an eye if it wouldn't cost so much. I've use it maybe 20 times and trouble from the beginning with the cassette doors not opening. I have had a Mega Star for almost 25 years, but the cassette players were both were not working right, so decided to give in and finally buy a new one but could not find another Mega Star. I got on Amazon and did read the reviews, some very bad, some good. I am interested in making copies of old tapes onto new ones so I can then make a CD. These are my own tapes that were recorded at our Church Singings since 1957.... I have bedroom that I've converted into my music room. NOW, I received your machine, but being sick did not use it for about a week or so. I finally got to use it and I'm sorry to say I really don't like it... The sound is not clear. The volume button has a lot of static when turned. The recording side is now not recording and the open button will get stuck and not open. The right side is really slow in FF or rewind. When I am able to sing with background music, the volume over takes the mic your singing into. I've tried other mic and it's the same thing. Overall, I'm afraid I spend over $300 dollars and with nothing but SS that is a big purchase, and I'm pretty much still am without a good working product. Guess I am used to the better machine, and it's wonderful little gadgets that I used all the time. Like voice and key change to name a few. I am keeping this, it would cost too much to return, but I am a very disappointed customer at this point. I am 73 years old and still sing at Church. I do my own background vocals ,meaning singing the Tenor and alto, but sing the lead when I sing, and now am not able to do this or anything else pretty much.....Thanks for listening to my complaints. I hope you can improve on your future products.

I'm disappointed in it for the amount of money we paid

This machine has already lost the sound quality and we don't use it but about once or twice a month. I'm disappointed in it for the amount of money we paid.
VocoPro DVD-Duet 80W CD/Dual Cassette /AM/FM Karaoke System is not any good
Jimmy Fry•April 20, 2014
This is the second one of these that I have purchased. Neither one has worked properly for very long.
The first one was returned due to a faulty cd player, and it was replaced and worked for a while before the
cd player on it quit. So I bought another one May 9th, 2013 and it worked okay for several months.
But a few months ago the volume quit working properly and one of the cassette players is broken.
I sing at nursing homes and depend on these machines, but they are not any good.

falling apart
Frank Farino•July 13, 2013
after only 5 months of limited use, it-s alreqady falling apart. I might expect it if we had children or pets. It's only 2 senior adults that live here. It's cheaply made.
