Mirro has a problem in their manufacturing process, at least for this 10-inch pan here. After the first use, I took the pan to the sink to clean -- and discovered the paint on the underside was chipping off, revealing bare metal (see photo 1). This is the curved underside, not the flat part that rests on the burner. The only thing touching this would be the flame from the gas. Got Amazon to exchange it for another pan, and... same exact problem! (see photo 2) Only one use -- no abuse (the pan just sitting there frying a hamburger).
I bought this pan because I have a 12" Mirro pan I've used for years. However, it doesn't have a painted underside like these new ones do. Its Teflon surface is starting to fail (normal wear and tear), so I'll be looking to replace it soon too. But not with Mirro!

I'm trying to find a frying pan without rivets, because they're such a pain to clean when eggs or whatever get clogged in behind and around them. (I know there are some, because I used to have some, but the coating all wore away so I threw them out.) The picture of this pan makes it look like it doesn't have rivets, but it does, so I returned it.
