Some of the connecting pieces are really difficult to remove when cleaning is needed (but I'd rather it be tight than too loose). The only draw back is when "Clark" is in his exercise wheel - he poops and the spinning wheel sends the little pellets out everywhere. Just beware of that part!

Cute, small add on cage for our larger hamster home. But within about a week the plastic piece that holds the ball into place snapped like a twig. Gonna have to glue it in place or something since I can't find a replacement for it. Had to detach the cages because they could knock the ball off now and get loose.

Item is plastic and quite small. Did not live up to the quality I might have expected considering the "name" is everywhere. Some items refused to "snap" together and I was so afraid upon putting it together the prongs would "break" on items. Thus I returned it and will find something else for our family hamster. Who in the end was also a bit too big for the tubes.

I love kaytee. I have three of their cages, however this one disappointed me. The tube that leads to the removable ball comes in two parts, and these parts do not fit together. My hamster is too scared to go up into her ball because her little paws slip through the (rather large gap) and get stuck. Taping it does not work because then I have no way to easily take the top section off to fit larger things in there that wont fit through the door.
