I was looking for a decent rat cage for months and most were super expensive. The cages that weren't expensive always had bad reviews, but this one's reviews seemed okay.
So I bought the cage and it was really easy to put together. The cage came with a nice bowl and a water bottle. It is about 4 feet tall and pretty large. It is perfect for my 2 female rats. I would not get this cage for tiny / young rats but it is perfect for adult rats.
I would NOT recommend this cage for animals that are strong enough to push hard. If you push hard on the doors, it leaves enough space for the animal to squeeze through and possibly even get hurt.
I definitely recommend trying this cage out, I love it!

I really enjoy this cage! The assembly wasn't too bad. Expect for the fact that one screw will not go in all the way. Not a huge deal! BUTTTT I am a new rat owner and should have done more research on this cage. The gaps between each bar is an inch wide! My rats squeezed right through the bars!! My rats are male (are only 2 months old) and are fairly small. Maybe as soon as they grow more they won't be able to squeeze through the bars. As for now, I used cage wire to keep them in which cost me another $30.00 just to fix the issue. Took me a long time also. As for the cage itself I love how big it is!! My Ratties were running up and down enjoying how much room they have! The wheels are very useful! I'm only giving this a 4 star because I had to fix the escape issue.

First off it came within two days of it being ordered even though it was an expected week wait that's just insane thank y'all so much. It is extremely hardy metal yet soft incase it's chewed. I was capable of getting a third rat because of this cage and as you can see she is very small compared to my other two and still can't squeeze out of the bars. It's def four foot something in height. I am 5'4 and it's shoulder length I went ahead and added that pic in but not only that. I recorded a video of assembly and I wish it'd let me post it in total it took 11 minutes and is self explanatory. So 10/10 if you going to be littering the cage with Timothy hay or pine then ide suggest getting a mini broom and dust pan for cleaning to make it easier and a maybe bathroom mat even large enough to put under it!!! So dang amazing once again thank you to this company my rats will now be very happy have mega space and plenty of exercise. For the price as well I forgot to mentioned don't sleep on this deal!

I bought this cage for my two rats. In the beginning, they were always slipping between the bars and scurrying off to hide around my room. If you have rats younger than about 18 months this might not be the cage for you. I ended up wrapping chicken wire around the cage as a quick fix to keep them in. Now that my rats are older (and fatter), they can't slip through the bars. The cage itself is really easy to clean and move around. My only complaint is the platforms that go along with it. There are small plastic hooks that hold the platforms steady but they break off incredibly easy if you apply too much force (which is incredibly easy to do). Other than that issue, I would say this cage is well made and decent for the price!
