I have purchased these in from this company before; however, the last 3 I purchased were defective in that before one week was out the screw shaft sheared off from the lock boot that butts up again the tap handle, this happened with 3 of the units so it appears that the metal was defective. I will try again, but be ready to ask for a return

Tap lock is great! Fits very securely with no problem at all. Feel much better about the kids or neighbors slipping a beer when we are not home. Highly recommend!

Only includes one key....seriously, one key? What lock comes with just one key, heres hoping you don't loose or break THE key. Other than my qualms with one key, the device works well enough. a hardened rubber assembly on the part that "locks" the tap shut would have probably been a better choice. There is a slight play when I lock mine to the right spot, allows a drop at a time to come out so unless the kids are gonna sit there getting drunk off a drop at a time, its fine, but you have metal on metal right now, so it is possible this will mar your tap assembly.

This tap faucet does the job and locks the tap without an easy way to defeat it. The key essentially works like a screwdriver. When you insert the key, you have to keep turning until the edge of the lock firmly presses against the tap handle. You then have to use the key to unscrew the lock when you are ready to remove it. Sometimes the key is a little hard to remove.
