CRITTER RIDDER WORKS!!!!!!
Jim✓ Verified Purchase•February 21, 2018
This product is amazing. I used it over 2 months ago on a 203 square foot strip of front lawn (37 feet X 5.5 feet) between the sidewalk and the street. Over the past 10 years that section of lawn had been used by a myriad of neighborhood dogs as their communal toilet. Since receiving Critter Ridder in December, I applied it only once to that area, sprinkling it on EXTREMELY lightly as an initial test. Afterwards I knew I had applied only the tiniest fraction of the product I was supposed to, but was nevertheless willing see what would happen as a result. (Although the directions call for an application rate of 1 pound per 40 square feet, I probably applied 1/100th of that amount. So now, after all this time has passed, here is what has happened: NOTHING!!! All the dogs around here avoid that area like the plague. How much longer do I plan to wait before reapplying the product to the same area? I'm not sure. I've been an Engineer since 1968 and have always enjoyed experimenting. So I'll probably let it go a while longer. Do I recommend others apply this product as sparingly as I did? Absolutely not. Will I apply it as lightly the next time as I did initially? Yes.

This does not work and I have game pictures to prove it I am very disappointed you tube has a how to use video (BS) don't know what coons they have that this works on but in Illinois it does not work on mine!
It didn't work against raccoons.

It didn't work. I woke up in the middle of the night and there was a raccoon digging up my plants, right where I sprinkled some of the product. It did nothing to scare them.
I also used cayenne pepper in another spot and they didn't dig that spot up.

I normally don't like to post negative reviews but this product is worthless. I bought it to discourage the squirrels from hiding food in my potted outside plants but it didn't work at all. I tried adding extra the next day but it didn't make a speck of difference. Every day I come home and find holes where they've been digging and soil all over the deck.
Buy red pepper flakes!

I was so dissatisfied with this product. I used it, following the directions, and found my small garden had been destroyed overnight. I rely on reviews as I shop online so when I bother to take the time to write one the product is either very good, or very bad. In this case, really bad. I wasted my money on this when I could have went to Walmart and purchased a large bottle of red pepper flakes. My okra had finally overcome the last grazing event by goundhogs, so I thought I would step my game up a notch and buy a product that was made to repel them. I should have left the bottle in the garden so the varmints could have read the label. It's back to nature for this country boy.
