Cheap but good enough

I bought this dictionary and delivered to my friend in US. When she came back to Japan, I got it at last.
It is not a luxury one and made in China. Beside it looks cheap, but functions are enough for me as a beginner learner.
I like most is even if you input an unknown word and that word is a variation, this dictionary tells the original word.
This function is very useful and convenient!

I bought this dictionary and delivered to my friend in US. When she came back to Japan, I got it at last.
It is not a luxury one and made in China. Beside it looks cheap, but functions are enough for me as a beginner learner.
I like most is even if you input an unknown word and that word is a variation, this dictionary tells the original word.
This function is very useful and convenient!

At first I was not so sure about this system. I hate complicated instructions (or so I perceived), so I just jumped in and followed the tutorial, then started using the dictionary system and simply played with it. Be aware that sometimes the buttons can stick when pressed on an edge. The screen will just flash, so just adjust the button back and the screen goes back to normal. Worth the little bit of extra time as you get used to it. The more you use it, the easier and faster it gets. Certainly faster than using a dictionary, and you get all the uses plus then you can "decline" the word to see related verb forms. You would need a cart to haul around a Spanish dictionary that contains all the words that this little electronic device has at your fingertips. This is a timesaver and a learning tool at a very fair price.
