Great little bed. I would say not good for 5 years old and over. My daughter is almost 5 and fits perfectly. There are no uncomfortable bars in her back. Bars are on the sides so u don't feel them when laying down. Folds in seconds. Folds like those chairs people use at sports games that fold and put in a bag. Comes with bag and top fitted sheet that washes great. Our daughter wet the bed so we took it out back and hosed it off... Cleaned perfectly. Great for sleep overs, camping, vacation, and at home. We love it. It got our daughter out of our bed and in her own. She wouldn't sleep in her big twin in her room... She would sneak in with us so we lay this right next to us and it worked! We told her it's her special camping bed. But remember it is small and I wouldn't recommend for a big 5 or 6 year old. They would be at the end or over the end of the cot.

These cots are great for toddlers and kids up to 7 years old. They are a hair narrower and a lot shorter than your standard adult cot, allowing your kids to sleep comfortably in tighter spaces.

My parents' live in a small 3/2 house and it gets packed during the holidays. The guest rooms have shallow, double door closets; but this cot fits perfectly in the closet floor. We set up the closet of our room as my 3 year old son's personal sleeping space during long visits at my folks' house. We leave one door wide open for bedtime, but can close the doors during the day and it keeps the room from looking messy.

The best part with this setup is that is utilizes unused square footage/floor space, leaving the bedroom floor open to move around. My son loves having his own "sleeping nook" set up in our the closet of our bedroom. He's right there with us in the bedroom, but feels like he has a space to himself.

This is a wonderful cot. We ordered the extra long version so our two youngest kids would have room to grow and I'm glad I did. There's extra room but not as much as I thought there would be. The cots are but sturdier than I expected. They're well made and the fabric is heavyweight. The sheet it comes with is t very thick but it's held up well so far and the thinness has proven to be a virtue since when we travel it can be rinsed out and it's dry by the evening when we lay it over our luggage in the back of the van. The setup is the best part. It sets up in all of 15 seconds and is packed up in maybe 30 seconds. The sheet can stay right in place, no need to remove it. It just opens up and folds up accordion style. It comes with a carrying bag.

This cot is perfect for my 2 year old and she could probably use it up to the age of 8 or so, but it does take some work to make it comfy. Like most cots it's terribly uncomfortable so I bought a foam pad from Walmart for $9 and then covered it with an extra sheet and it seems to do the trick! My little one was so excited when she saw it. We bought the pink one and I love that it comes in a cute pink carrying bag! So easy to set up, they even sent us a little pink sheet cover which was awesome, I put the foam pad on than the pink cover and then a simple crib sheet. So far we are happy! It's a better choice than a kids air mattress because those things can be so overpriced! I've heard some people say that the cot will close up because you do have to pull it out, I wish there was some kind of latch that I could hook on the bars to make it more stable like, but I've never had it just close on my child or anything, but my little one knows to not stand or jump on this, it's strictly for sleeping and sitting in the middle where it's most Secure. Over all we are very happy!

I bought a blue Regalo cot at Walmart 2 years ago. It was very comfortable and just great!!! It finally wore out and broke after my daughter used it every weekend for 2 years. Not a big deal, I decided to order a new one from amazon but this time in pink. It'seems awful. The middle part is highly then the rest of the cot. Not only is it very uncomfortable but I would think it would mess up my daughter'so back eventually, and I am definitely not going to let it happen. Returning it right away and seeing if I can find a blue at Walmart again. If not, they I will be looking for another brand.
