This is fantastic
P. Childers•December 12, 2017
This is fantastic. I bought a floodlight but it didn't have an on/off switch, and pulling the plug out of the outside outlet to turn it off was impossible with my arthritis. But now I plugged this in and from inside my warm house with the remote I can turn the Flood light off and on.
very rugged product. the three-prong looks like commercial grade.

this is a very rugged product. the three-prong looks like commercial grade. much more heavy duty than i expected, which is good. the remote is also solid build. wish it were half the price, but its much better than the unit is replacing.
Defective Unit. Remote not intended to be left outside.

The one I received didn't work. It turned on once (after many presses at close range) and turned off once (after many many more presses at close range). Never turned back on. I even tried replacing the battery in the remote even though its LED indicator was coming on, to no avail. Mine was defective and I returned it.
Also, my intent was to leave the remote outside (to control to some overhead deck/patio string lights). I wanted to be able to turn the string lights on/off without running inside the house. However the remote is clearly not intended to be left outside as there is no seal on the battery compartment and the whole thing would fill with rain. Be aware if this is your intended use.

I love it. It works great. I use it to turn on a extension cord that I used to have to move furniture to plug in some lights. Now all I have to do is touch the on button and there on. Thanks
I would definitely buy again
I would definitely buy again
Wonderful remote light operation!

I purchased this to control a strand of lights in our backyard. Previously we had to go into the back yard and plug/unplug an extension cord to turn these lights on. It was a HUGE hassle, especially if we hadn't poop scooped the back yard recently! We thought we would need an electrician to install a switch by the door for us, but then I found this remote control device. We have had the wireless remote control outlet for several weeks now. The device works fantastic! We can now turn on the lights in our back yard with the simple press of a button. Seller even included an extra battery in the shipment. Love this device and so glad that we found it.
