Good solution for garage windows

This works great for giving our garage some privacy and keeping it cooler from the sun. You can see into the garage if you stand right next to the window, but it looks black from any distance back.
Our window is fairly large so it was a bit difficult to get the film to stay up initially while we were installing it, but my husband had it done in less than an hour and it looks great.

It went on, it works if at least a little blurry but the con:
Con - Ensure you keep the application clean because it will pickup dirt/dust and those will leave bubbles in your application.
Worst - will not stick to the window unless the window is straight up and down. I was able to apply it to my skylight windows, but either the sun or gravity pealed the film away. I came home after a weekend away to find the film on my floor, not on my window.

I bought this for our rv. It is great for privacy and good for keeping out heat as far as windows on older rv's go. It's not like they are dual pane e grade windows so I'm very satisfied. I would change your blade very often with this product. It's thick and blades dull fast.

If your looking to darken the room, it works. If your looking to cool down a room, don't bother. This tint is thick like vinyl and almost to hot to touch after it's been in the sun. Seems to heat up the room even more. This is not like car window tint. It's a lot thicker.

I bought this and the application kit in hopes that it would darken my room...and it does, but not as much as I was hoping. Application is easy and can be done by one person. I rent a duplex and this seems like I'll be able to peel it off when I move out so that is a plus for me. Just wish it was more room darkening.
