Doesn't fit right and recesses the deck, look elsewhere if you can.

I'm probably being to generous with the 2 stars given all the others that say it doesn't fit quite right. I have this installed in a 2008 Acadia. I have been using this for a couple weeks now and gradually dislike it more.
Pros:
* It holds the radio in the dash
Cons:
* The dash panel won't fit around the kit correctly, so either the bottom or the top is not flush where it should be. I could probably dremmel this, but it's likely to look like crap afterwards.
* I dislike the fact that the head unit is recessed in this kit. I thought it just didn't fit right at first, then realized that was just the way they made it. Kind of an odd choice and doesn't look very "factory". It also makes it hard to use the volume buttons on my Kenwood unit since they are right up against the inset of the kit.

Almost perfect, easy install. Only problem is the original dash cover clips won't have anything to clasp onto at the top of the dash any longer. Other than that it made my install look like it came from the factory that way.

Does not fit 2006 Saturn Vue. Corners on top dash trip are slightly rounded. When I pressed in the dash trim, it had to bend around these corners, putting extra stress on the plastic tabs that hold the metal tension clips to hold on the dash trim...enough so that one of them promptly broke off. Your $10 trip kit just cost me $250 in dashboard piece replacement because you and Amazon claimed it fits, and it doesn't. Thanks Metra!

fit the pioneer radio like a glove ,gave the car a factory install look and the price was cheap ,this is a must have if you install a double din radio, had this installed for 3 months now ,it fits like a glove ,solid no sloppiness of the unit ,since you press the screen quite often weather for GPS or radio stations .
