Maybe because it was shipped during summer heat, but it arrived dead. Made a loaf of bread which did not raise. Tested in warm water and found no activity. Unfortunately. They have a no return policy. So I won't order again.

Love this yeast. Never had any problem with it at all. We make tons of bread in this house so it's great to get a good deal on yeast.
