Terrible value.

Stopped working less than six months after arriving. Tried replacing the bulb (several times) but this thing is just broken. Terrible value.

Hard to find flourescent lamps anymore. The LED ones do not provide a sun substitute, as the lights are very blue and no heat is given off. I use this for a turtle, not fish, and he needs this type of light. It works and fits great, glad I found this one!

I'm so glad I could still find a fluorescent aquarium light! This one works perfectly, and has solved my problem. Now I have time to figure out how to change over to an LED light later - unless I buy another one of these as a back-up. The fluorescent bulbs for these lights are still sold in the stores but I couldn't find the fixture anymore. I wasted time and money looking for a new fixture locally, then trying to have my light repaired, and then buying a used one that broke immediately. Finally I did what I should have done in the first place, and bought this light as a replacement.
