It took me awhile to go to the advance setting and get it where I like it. Uped the intensity to 100%. Took almost all the white out of it so I wouldn't have too much algae. I love the light! I have 2 in my 75 gallon reef tank. Sorry if the photo and video don't show the great color. I have a cheap phone.

As advertised. Took a bit to figure out how to test and operate it through the app but works well after you get it.

This photo is at 15% on a 4ft 60 breeder saltwater aquarium with currently no corals, the light is very powerful and makes the aquarium look amazing, more than powerful for the soft corals and some gorgonians I plan on growing.

I seldom write reviews, however, there are limited reviews for this light. Honestly, I almost didn't purchase it due to the lack of reviews. I am soo pleased with this purchase, I want to share my thoughts... The tank that I purchased these lights for is a 125 gallon tank. It is 72" long. It's hard to find quality lights in a 72" version, and when you can, they start at about $400 dollars and go up from there. Anyway I opted to use 2 of these lights in the 36" version to cover the 72" that I needed. They came boxed very well with ample protection for the light and power supply. When I first took the light out of the box, it was obvious that this was a quality product. It had a great, solid feel to it. The light has a really great looking finish to it. It is also the most rigid tank top light I have ever seen. It will not flex, or sag in the middle, like many other lights do. This thing is built extreamly well. It was quick to set up and get working. The units came with a quick setup guide. It Instructs you to download the app and get the light paired and functional. It's quick and easy. Ok this next part might cause some of you to be concerned... but don't be. This light comes with very limited instructions regarding how to use the app. Please realize that this is a common occurrence with all app controlled lights, regardless of brand. (Including Fluval) What this means... is that you are left to figure out what the different settings do, and how to use them. It took me a couple of hours to figure it all out, but it was well worth the effort. Once you know what you are doing... this app is very easy to use. I am 63 yrs. old, I'm not very smart, and I'm not tech savvy. I did it, and you can too! You might be wondering... why is it worth the challenge. The answer is quite simple... This is a high quality light, at an unbelievably low price point. This light has only been available for about a year in the freshwater configuration. (thats why there arent many reviews) I believe it is priced low, so that people will try it out. I believe that once this light gains popularity, that the price could potentially double. The marine version of this light has been around a few years and the 36" version sells for $178. on Amazon. The Fluval 3.0 plant light in the 36" version sells for $199. on Amazon. The 36" version of this light at the time of this review is $88. on Amazon. It's my opinion that this light is truly worth twice the price, when compared to the competition. I forgot to mention... The app controls these 2 lights simultaneously, as if it was 1 light. No delays, No response difference. The lights operate as if they are one! This is a great benefit if your setup requires multiple lights. Anyway... I Really Love These Lights, and I honestly think YOU WILL TOO!!! Hope this review is helpfull.

The build quality and brightness seem great so far. For the money I think this light offers some of the best brightness and manual adjustability in terms of scheduling and overall LED controls. The app is a little janky and takes some getting used to, but after you dial it in the way you want to (which can be quite detailed) it will perform great. I can't speak to longevity yet and I hope it does last awhile. Things that are lacking aside from app reliability is the ability to set different lighting profiles for different days of the week or month. I hope some updates are made but otherwise I'm very happy so far.
