Aquarium lights have come a long way since hoods with incandescent tubes. And remember genuine fiberglass filter floss? Right, your secret's safe with me. Anyway, this light is nice and bright. So bright the fish go into hiding whenever I turn it on. So that would be my only complaint. My fish don't like it. They think the Earth is falling into the sun.
It works and stable on my tanks.

It made my plants colors pop a lil better than the standard aquarium kit lights. I love that it has a selectable mode 1 button 3 settings. I wish it had a 4th meaning a lower white light setting. the on/off switch could have been a little futher from the ac plug end just my preference. all in all its a great light for a planted tank. I hope to see some additional growth using in the coming weeks.

The reason I didn't give it 5 is that from what I can see, when the light goes out, you have to throw the whole unit away. That means the cord, plug, everything. Unless I'm missing something about it. But it's very bright and expands easily. I have it on a 20 gallon tall tank. I'm not sure how much more it will expand.

Un tip, si te interesa , en vez de compras una luz larga cómprate dos pequeñas de 9$ las pones las dos en la pecera y hacen el trabajo de una de 40 😄 no se si me saldrá peor el recibo de la Luz pero a mi me funciona.
