I ordered this because and after my wife fell trying to clean the ceiling fan blades. I was at work at the time. We tried this swiffer on the fan immediately after this arrived. What I found was it seem to do to things. It collected the light dust but any place that had a lot of dust it just brushed it off whatever it was on and down onto the floor. I'd say it's good for light dusting. The extension feature works great as well as the ability to angle the duster. It extends easily. It came with 3 of the dust collector things. It's a bit of challenge to find where the collector things slides onto the 2 prong fork and you really have to give it some effort to slide it into place. At no time did it try to slide back off for the dusting my wife did. I give it 4 stars.

Our house has nine foot ceilings, so I end up standing on tip toe (I am average height) to really be able to dust the corners of the ceiling with this gadget. It is great for ceiling fans, tops of bookshelves, and picture frames. I just wish it had one more extension and it would be perfect for our house. It folds back up to a reasonable size. The head locks into position so it isn't swiveling all over while I dust. It is light weight, so it doesn't wear my arms and shoulders out like trying to wrestle a vacuum hose up over my head does. I'm not sure how long this has been available, but I wish I had found it years and years ago. My house will be much cleaner and the spiders are going to have to work over time to keep up now.

The picture makes it look like it is designed for regular Swiffer duster refills. The old Swiffer refills fit fine, but the box I was sent came with the 360 dusters.

I havent set foot in a retail store in YEARS. Over the years I have come to love some of the little surprises that come from reading comprehension errors and the things some people take for granted. A few years ago I thought I was buying a pair of brooms to use outside... one in the front one in the back. Instead what I bought were two long metal handles with a heavy threaded bit on the end, cleary meant for the twisting on of a broom head, purchased seperately. I am not into returning things unless there are extraordinary circumstances, like if the thing itself is broken, so for the past three years I have been holding on to these broom handles.

Arrives the swiffer duster with the long handle that is still way too short to reach the ceilings where the cobwebs dwell in corners that I cannot reach. The handle is feather light, and the cap with the hook at the end pops off. The handle is hollow and fits PERFECTLY over the plastic thread on the broom handle, it doesnt need to be screwed on because its so light.

I can now reach into corners on the high ceiling without moving furniture, and on a bad day I can even do it sitting down. If you are a wheelchair user u can attach this thing to a broomhandle and get the high spaces with ease and trust that u will not be showered in dust. The dust really does stick.

now if I can just find a use for the 6 inch eye screw I bought, clearly meant for mooring a large boat....

Boy does this thing work! I wish we had bought it years ago. It picks up dust and cobwebs I could not even see! I love the really long extension handle. I was able to get up to the corners of our high ceiling. I am 5 ft 2 (if I stand up really straight). With the handle fully extended, I was able to get the corners of ceiling beams that are 10-1/2 ft tall. I was able to get behind furniture that has a printer on it, as well as the nooks and crannies of the printer! Then I watched a YouTube how to wash, rinse, and lay out the dirty little fluffy caterpillar cleaners. I have it sitting out to dry now. I have two more that came with this purchase. The handle is very easy to put together, feels sturdy, and the buttons to insert pieces together and pull apart feel quite strong. There is only ONE problem and it's kind of an important one. Swiffer, please reverse Steps 2 and 3. If we fluff the caterpillar thingeys out, we cannot find the insertion points for the prongs of the handle. It's nearly impossible. Also, please consider printing red arrows or stips on both entry points of the fluffy cleaners. The slots for the handle's prongs are virtually invisible. I had to watch a couple of YouTube videos to figure out how to get the cleaner onto the handle. One video had over 15 thousand views! Seriously? Yes! And there were about 6 how-to videos on putting this device together. This is definitely a problem for you to correct. That is the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. Make the insertion slots easier to see and this will become 5 stars.

I've never been a fan of dusting. There's always places I can't reach and need a step ladder to get to, I have to use a damp cloth to make sure that the dust doesn't fly around everywhere and it's just overall, very time consuming. I grew really tired of grabbing the step ladder and lugging it around the house trying to get to all the fans and the high ceiling light above the stairs so I decided to give this swiffer extender thing a shot.

Wow, what a great duster! Not only does it make it super easy to get to fans and high shelves and the ceiling light, but it's also adjustable so you can angle it to get to whatever surface you're trying to dust. It keeps dust without spreading it around and makes dusting MUCH faster and more efficient. I can't believe how much time I wasted before, I'm a little embarrassed about it.

The kit comes with three little dusting cloths but you can also use the same exact ones from the little regular handled ones. They're easy to store and don't take a lot of room so they don't create clutter trying to figure out where to store it. The only thing is that the little dust catchers aren't reusable or washable so you do have to buy replacements but they do such a good job at what they do that it's completely worth it. I was left very impressed with this product and would recommend it to anyone who dusts their house.
