The design looks promising but the emitted light (lumens) is weak and gives more of a spot light than a flood light effect. Instructions tell you to store it indoors when not in use, it's a grill light for Pete' s sake.

Up-date!! I bought two of these lights two months ago. Already one will not turn on and it was never exposed to the elements. It started to dim and now even with new batteries it will not turn on. So now it is a piece of junk. I am taking it apart to see if I can at least use the clamp and goose neck for something else.
