Got these around a year ago for mixed riding mostly on roads but also some on gravel and trail surfaces. We have plants such as puncture weed that can cause flats, and with these I have had no flats, unlike the original tires that came on my bike. Also contrary to one review, I have had no trouble with them picking up glass or other bits of sharp material. I am no expert on tires, but these have been very satisfactory to me.

As of this writing I have put 2400 miles on this tire without a single flat. It is starting to show some wear at this point but that is expected. I have the 700x38 tire on the front of an old trek hybrid. I ride almost exclusively on pavement/sidewalks and have to navigate debris, bumps, glass, etc that one finds on the side of the road. I am roughly 250 lbs so that weight will typically shorten the lifespan of a tire which is partly why I am writing a positive review. I am not sure how many more miles I have left before I need to replace it but I am already pleased with 2400 miles, no flats, and at a little over $30. If tire was on the rear axle I would suspect lower miles but still happy overall. I will update later once I need to change it.

After receiving these, in a prompt manner, I installed them and went for a ride. I live in a semi-urban area, dirt roads mixed with pavement, so I needed a tire that can handle both. The tread is not too aggressive, so I won't be doing any trail riding but there is enough to handle what I have to deal with. The rolling resistance is very good, enough so that I don't get any feedback from the tires. All in all a very good choice. I would have given them 5 stars but I don't know about the tread life or how well the flat FPS (Flat Protection System) works.

Best tires ever bought, recommend them to anyone, price is the best for a high quality tire. I love them.

Even I was a little skeptical when I saw these for $30 each. I'm a conti Grand Prix 25mm roadie snob. I needed a commuting tire for my trek 920 and came upon these. "Eh, what can I lose"?? I asked. These babies are great. They mounted easy and roll nice with a bit of grip and they feel super sturdy (flat protection). Only reason not 5 stars is not on long enough to see durability/longevity. But they are great. I will order again... if I need too. Lol
