Would have rated this a 1 except the seller eventually refunded my money without having to pay postage to return the part. The output voltage was so low it would not power my halogen track lighting. Tested with a meter with no load and it was not outputting anywhere near the stated voltage. I believe the part was defective. The return/reimbursement process was not smooth and customer friendly. Had to get Amazon involved. I ended up removing the track lighting and installing everything new.

I installed the first transformer , found out it was defective, I then ordered the same part again from the same company, thinking I may of connected it incorrectly , I received the new transformer 2 days later, before I installed it, I performed a bench test , found out the part was defective. I think that the company selling this part should inspect and test these parts before shipping .
... it works but the base of the light gets Super Hot. Worried about Fire so I am going ...

Replaced original with this and now it works but the base of the light gets Super Hot. Worried about Fire so I am going to have to remove and throw it away. Not sure if its a defect or what??

Bought this to use with a Seagull Ambience undercounter lighting setup. The original Seagull driver failed after about 18 months. This has been going strong for several years now. Significantly cheaper to buy than a replacement Seagull driver.
