These are the best construction screws I have ever used. They are coated, have high shear strength, and work perfectly with an impact drive. In most cases setting a fastener into framing lumber requires no pilot drill. You must use the FastenMaster FMPOZI2BIT-2PK Pozisquare Driver Bit, 2-Inch, 2-Pack for best results. Each box comes with one, but I always grab a couple extra. 5 sizes; 1 5/8, 2, 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2

Customers have previously reported that the FastenMaster FMGD312-250 GuardDog screws pictured are not the screws sent. Took a chance and ordered anyway; the reports are true, the screws I received are not the screws in the product photos. Not sure what I will do with these screws, they are not well suited to the needs of my current project.
Easy to use decking screws

I have used these screws in the past so I sought them out, rather than settling for whatever was available at my local hardward store. They come with a special bit for the electric screw driver, one that works well. From past experience, these screws go in and stay in. That is, unless you want to take apart whatever you used them for. I had to remove about 120 square feet of decking to make some layout changes. After 6 years the screws came out as easily as they went in and I was able to reuse them.
