UPDATE! An extremely loud squeaking/screaming noise has started happening, and no amount of WD-40 has fixed it. It is no longer a smooth rotation, and it seems like I have to push extremely hard to even get the pedals to go around once. It is completely out of the question to continue using this in a quiet office setting, so I guess it will have to go in the trash. Such a shame that this did not turn out to be a long term product.

This is the best purchase I've ever made.

My office manager has this elliptical under her desk, so I tried it out before buying one. I was worried that my knees would hit the desk while using this, but I have the perfect amount of room. (I'm 5' 8"). I'm just using my normal office chair, which is working out great.

It was fairly easy to put together - it only took me about 20-30 minutes. It is almost completely silent. There is a slight swooshing noise, but I don't think it's audible to anyone but me.

Fun fact: I put my FitBit on one of the pedals while I'm sitting at my desk at work, and it counts your pedaling as steps. I'm officially going to win every FitBit competition from this point forward. :)

Easy to put together and great item; it's completely sturdy. Something to think about for people considering buying this item- make sure you have enough clearance underneath your desk. You also won't be able to use this while sitting in a chair that has wheels on the feet (that is, if the wheels don't lock).

EDIT 3/11/17** I've had this trainer for one month now and have reduced the rating from 5 to 3 stars because, after using it every day, the squeaking that has developed is incredibly annoying. It's loud and distracting. I've tried cleaning the wheels and the base but nothing does the trick. It's no longer quiet, which it's advertised as supposedly being. The squeaking developed after about 2 weeks of use, but has become worse over time.

I recently purchased this "Under-Desk" Elliptical. Before purchasing I read a lot of product reviews and was VERY hesitant that this was too good of a price for this type of exercise equipment. After lots of research, over several days, I finally decided to buy it. I received it on Friday and I couldn't be happier! It is so quiet; no one (so far) even knows I have it under my desk! (I have a panel in front of me that blocks view from others seeing under my desk.) I have a very narrow, short desk, 24"D x 60"W x 28-1/4"H. I'm able to use this equipment just fine without hitting my knees or obstructing my panel/raceway. I happen to have rainboots on today, which I hadto take off to use the machine without hitting my knees. It's still just as easy to use with socks!

I'm not trying to advertise, but I also happen to be a professional interior designer. I know that being in an office all day long can be monotonous, which is partially why I wanted to buy this item myself. Being at a desk all day also prevents me from getting the exercise I so desire. This definitely is worth the buy if you're in the same boat! I would highly recommend it to my clients, as well!

One last thing I'd like to share that the product detail doesn't mention is that the legs (steps where your feet rest upon) go up if you don't want to use them. I provided a picture of the legs/glides in the upright position for reference.

I ordered this product TWICE!! and both times it broke. Unfortunately the second time it was after 2 months so I couldn't return it to Amazon and it was a HUGE flaw. One of the pedal directly fell out of the machine.
This is a piece of garbage, a total unreliable and awful constructed machine. The wheels are cheap (I had to order to the warehouse another set because they were disintegrated after two weeks), the machine makes a lot of noise, the pedals bend and they fall apart, the wheels don't stay in the guide...

I want my money back, I cannot believe this product can have so many problems. I do not want another one. Even if it's free I wouldn't accept it. It can be dangerous and hazard. I was doing exercise when the pedal fell off and I fell into the floor. Imagine that happening to an older person or to an adult that has bone problems or whatever. You can be injured pretty bad and this company doesn't take responsibility at all. The customer care is non-existent. I called many times, no one answers. I left voice messages and nobody call back. I sent them emails and I got no response.

This company is TOTAL S*** as well as their products. DON"T BUY IT!!! you would regret it for the rest of your life.

Update: I've had this for 8 months now and I L O V E this. I am stuck in a desk job but this allows me to stay somewhat active during the day. It's almost like a recumbent bike when you sit. If your legs are longer you can push it further from you and avoid your knees hitting your desk but then it's a little different workout.

Original review: This is great. I was worried it would be loud but you can hardly hear it. I hear my office chair (with wheels) move/squeak slightly as I use it more than I hear the actual elliptical. It's a great work out. I can do many miles while working my office job that keeps me tied down most of the day. It's been a great. My desk has a counter and I'm in a high traffic area outside of a conference room and people can't even tell I am using it while they are talking to one another around me. Worth every penny and have been using it for a few weeks now. The box is a little heavy so I had it delivered right to my office and set it up in less than 5 minutes.
