It is very useful and the type of machine I was looking for. I like how it has both a probe and a IR sensor. The speed and accuracy of the FoodPro Plus impresses me. Also, very easy to clean. The size is small enough to carry around, unlike larger IR thermometers.

This is, by far, the best thermometer I've found. Love the probe and scan on the same device and it beeps when it gets to final temperature. Fantastic!

I bought two of these, one for my parents for cooking. This device is extremely fast and high end. The temperatures are accurate to a tenth of a degree and is one of the few thermometers with both infrared and prob measurements on one device. This way during your inspections you don't need to carry two types of thermometers, just point and shoot or bring down the probe easily. Highly recommended.
