Great thermostat

This King thermostat is exactly as was described. It came with two instruction sheets. One was an information sheet and one wiring installation sheet. The thermostat is well made and works very well. It keeps the house at a much more even temperature than the old t-stat it replaced.

I use these to replace mechanical thermostats and wall heater controls. They have worked fine with one exception that may not be the manufacturer's fault. I had a power outage and when the power came back on, the lighted screen stayed on and would not turn off. At the time of the power outage none of 8 King units were turned on (They are in a weekend home and on only when we are there.) The units with the light problem still worked fine to control the heat but the light was a problem since the units were in bedrooms and shown brightly all night. I had to replace 2 of them.

Great product. It is difficult to purchase locally a unit that is made for line voltage 220V. Replaced a broken Honeywell unit that started to cycle every 10 seconds.
The large readout makes it easy to read at any distance and the LED backlight option is a bonus to select the temperature in low light. I prefer this manual model verses the programmable model. I have had programmed ones before, but seem to always end up using them manually anyway. The 2 arrows is so simple, no need to have a users manual around. And there is no battery required.
