Nice colors

These are a little harder than I expected but still soft enough to blend well. Rich colors. Would like a few more darks. As half sticks, they are small.

I rate these pastels 5 stars but I bought this for my wife's first complete set and it arrived from Jackson's Art Supply with 20 broken sticks, some crushed so much to be unusable. What a disappointment! It shipped in a padded envelope instead of a sturdy outside box. Pastels are delicate and should be better protected. Too much trouble to return them so we'll keep the incomplete set. But these Rembrandt's are a great mid-range "soft" pastel. My Unison. Schmincke and Mount Vision pastels are much softer than these.
