I use this when camped and have a 2-foot Firestick NGP for underway so I don't add to the overall height of the motorhome. Both screw in easily to the base that comes with this kit. The hardest part of installation (of course) was taking things apart in the RV to get to the inside of the mounting spot. Alone, this would add 2 feet to the height of the RV and I would be touching some bridges. Great reception and transmission.
