Despite the title, this is not a commercial machine. It is not a heavy commercial product. Instead, it is well made, but light enough to carry, and about the size of an upright vacuum cleaner. With the scrub brushes, it easily cleans the tile floor on my dog porch, and with the pads helps polish the tile floors in my house.

I have been using the unit for 7 years and am happy with the purchase. It is affordable, reliable, and pads/brushes are readily available.

Absolutely THE worst rug shampooer I have ever used. Once put together and I started to use it, the bottom of the tank started leaking. When customer service was contacted, their response was to bend the little trigger pin a little bit to see if that would stop the leaking from the bottom of the unit. This didn't help. Now, the pin is completely broke and we are not able to use it. I will never buy this product again.

So far so Good, this seems the obvious choice if you don't want to spend thousands on floor polisher. Its very good and quiet heavy duty, have not tried the shampooing aspect but it sure does a good job on wooden floors. I recommend it highly.

We own an apartment building and this is great for shampooing shag carpet and for scrubbing vinyl-tiled hallways. (Don't use a rotary style machine on berber carpet.) You need to be sure to buy the correct kind of carpet shampoo for rotary machines. When the soap dries, it creates a powder containing the emulsified dirt, grease, soil, and grime. Once bone dry, you thoroughly vacuum up the powder. Really helps. Pretreat stains with a stronger solution of the soap and a toothbrush. (If you want the mental satisfaction of the steam/sucking method of carpet shampooing, this is not the style of machine for you. That said, this kind of machine works! We had light cream carpet in our home that lasted for seventeen (17!) years with this kind of carpet machine. I am way too cheap to call out professional carpet cleaners several times a year, so I love having my own machine and having the ability to clean my own carpet whenever I want.) After shampooing, I put down old towels to walk on (on the main pathways) for a day or two. You need to use it a couple of times to get the hang of it. TIP: Don't be alarmed if there's a little dribble from the tank as you install it. Just keep your finger on the bottom spring thing to prevent the dribble as you carry the tank to install on the machine. Once the tank settles properly into the base receptacle, it will stop dribbling.

Wow , I was so afraid to buy this equipment I read some negative comments on it. I guess it all depend on who is buying and what are the expectations. For me, that I need it to clean and polish my hardwood floor it is amazing, I am really happy with it and I use it twice a week .

If I have to say something to improve it, I would say it needs a better way to self-stand when in use, you need to shutoff and leave it meanwhile you move the cord from one plug to another.
