Just what I wanted. I wanted a mat that wasn't rubber on the bottom so it would absorb water. It does just that! I wish I had ordered a bigger one. It keeps lots of dirt out of the entry as well.

These mats are great. We have them at the back doors where most of the traffic comes and goes. Because of the open weave of the mat dirt falls through to the floor below. To really appreciate how good they are you just have to pick them up after about a week. It is amazing how much dirt they have caught. So far they have lasted better than the previous coco mats we had used.

We had a really thick doormat that finally died, and this was the closest I've found to that one. Hard to find heavy-duty useful doormats that don't have flowers or puppies printed on it. The slightly open structure lets junk fall off and through the holes, instead of just piling up on the surface which you then track inside. This is a darn good doormat!
