Worked beautifully! I needed three bags to decorate 10 small graham cracker houses. It was hot, the children were young and yet this icing worked beautifully! It was 90F in the shade and no air-conditioning, yet this icing was rock solid when it dried. The children liked the flavor and I had to keep an eye on them so they didn't squeeze it right into their mouths! It was super quick and easy to mix up with an electric mixer. Will use again for sure!

Works great on our Christmas sugar cookies. Just read the directions carefully. There are different directions for different uses. I made it too runny the first time and then added more icing and made it work. I used 1 cup of icing mix in 4 bowls to make different colors of icing but I added too much water. Take it easy on the water. :)

I usually don't like icing on cookies but wanted to do something fun with my kids for Christmas. This stuff was amazing just kept slowly adding water till it got to the consistency I wanted. Made enough frosting to do 5 different color squeeze bottles and we had some left. Dries smooth and hard with out much flavor so you could really taste the cookie, not a sugar/icing taste. Will buy again.

I've never used this type of product before but it was really easy to mix and it did dry well. When I received mine it had a slit in the bag but they quickly sent me another bag.

I, too, have used different royal icing mixes. Ditto meringue powder. I also used to make my own from egg whites and 10X sugar. I am not a professional, but every Christmas I bake and bake and bake - cookies that are heavily and elaborately decorated. In fact, it is now the month of May and I've already begun baking and decorating. CK wins hands down. The mix speeds things along. The taste and texture are excellent. I use filtered water to which I add almond or lemon extract. The company says to use 5 TB of water, but I use a bit more. It pipes well, floods well, colors well (I use gel). But, here's the thing - I completely decorate these cookies and then freeze them. Come December, they are as perfect as the day I made them. You can freeze this stuff! It's wonderful and avoids all the stress and fuss of baking at holiday time. I highly recommend this wonderful product.
