After trying a few products from Chef Alan, I gave his buttercream a try. It did not disappoint. The icing was firm, delicious and made icing and piping a Valentine's cake easy. It comes with a recipe card to make additional flavors and I highly recommend that you try the Homemade recipe. I added butter, powdered sugar, milk and beat till smooth. I couldn't stop licking my fingers!! It extended the icing to easily frost and decorate an 8 inch cake. The recipe card also included recipes for chocolate, cream cheese and peanut butter. Can't wait to try them all!!

I was a little apprehensive trying a new pre-made icing but this one had everyone talking about my new  "recipe"! I ordered 3 tubs as I knew I was going to need more icing for this cake. I beat it on low, added gel colors, and it was the perfect consistency for piping rosettes. I'm really tempted to try the flavored recipes that come with the icing. It's so versatile! The only thing that could make this better is coming in larger tubs!
