This is the third cutting wheel I have purchased for my Carl Rotary Cutter. The cutter is over 15 years old and is used almost daily in my crafting. I have no complaints on the longevity of this product, its cutting mats nor the rotary cutting wheel.

The replacement blades used to be great, but quality seems to have suffered in the last year. Prior blades have lasted over a year and this year I've had to replace already 3 times because the blade has separated from the inner plastic piece. The blade itself is still sharp, it's just that the unit is broken and therefore doesn't work.

I owed the trimmer that this goes to for years and hoe to salvage it as it was falling apart. the blade works great. but alas, the whole unit saw its day so its gone. :0( Is you still have aunit, keep it as long as you can. Its great :0) I used it for years for trimming photos.

Never thought I would be able to find a replacement blade for my old paper cutter. Cuts like new again. I really appreciate the ability to replace and change my blade especially to other specialty blades. Be sure to rotate your cutting block under the wheel path and if it's worn replace it. You don't want poor cuts after you've installed a new blade.
