Excellent fly trap. Had an issue with flies bitting our dogs in the yard. One of them constantly had bloody ears because of scratching. Bought first trap at home store. Took a couple of days, then Whoa!!! Flies were all in this thing. After a week, the trap needed to be emptied. I debated whether to just throw it away and buy more, but figured it would be too costly! Bought 2 more on Amazon and extra baits. I guess since they had gotten used to the first trap, the second and third seemed to fill up even faster. Still have flies, but greatly reduced and dog's ears are doing much better.
A few years ago, I had to clean out a small deep freezer that had quit working for about a week before I noticed and I don't remember it smelling as bad as this trap! LOL! The dead fish smell of the regular bait may be non-toxic, but it is definitely noticeable. Just put it away from porches or areas you frequent and you will be fine.

This stuff smells like old dead crawfish but it does bring flies to it and catches them. Just don't put near house or where wind will blow smell toward you, you will gag!!

We share vents with a downstairs neighbor who inexplicably has a massive house fly problem in the middle of winter. Meaning so do we. Dozens of house flies to kill every day. A constant war.
This thing did nothing for house flies. It smells HORRIBLE and after a week killed a grand total of 0 flies in spite of a disturbing population to work from. Old fashioned fly strips did a much better job.
In other news, we're moving at the end of the month.

Works like a charm but even if its full, let the liquid dry up. DONT dump out the dead flies liquid still in it anywhere near you or else you will be swarmed. Looking for replacement packets right now

This does not work. I put out 1 packet each in 4 quart fly traps on May 18 2017. Today is May 29 2017.They have yet to attract any flies. These were placed in and around my chicken pen which has a lot of flies. They have a sweet smell and have yet to find any flies in the traps. Bought another products and put next to yours. The other product has a rotten smell and it is attracting flies,have to empty fly trap every 3 days. Could not find a link to contact seller.
