Great if you only have to glue one thing. Ever.
ShoeGirl•April 24, 2018
Two stars because it is strong. However, the tube it comes in can be opened once before your have to use a pliers to get it open a second time. After the continuous struggle to open the tube, the tube then weakens and breaks resulting in a glue mess all over everything, including your hands. Let it be known, the glue does not come off your hands until it wears off. There has to be a better way to dispense glue because this product is not the way to do it.
Great jewelry glue!

This glue works really well for jewelry, just be prepared for a strong smell, like super glue. You will want to work in a well-ventilated area and not use it for really long periods of time. It has a thick gel texture, but not as thick and sticky as rubber cement. The thing I really like about it is that I can squeeze some out in a blob to use and it doesn't dry out quickly. In fact, until you put it between two surfaces, it doesn't really start to dry. When you do put it between two surfaces, you have a little bit of time to move things around to get them in the right spot, but not too long. In those first 10-15 seconds, you can pull it back apart if things aren't right, but once it's stuck, it is totally stuck. This definitely gives a much stronger hold than the E6000 that I also use, especially with metal-to-metal. So far, I haven't had anything I've used this on come apart.
The only thing I don't like about this is that the lid tends to get glued shut and it's hard to clean off the glue so that this doesn't happen. If it does get stuck, you have to use the main opening, which is harder to control. I don't know how to make this better, but it's the only thing I don't like about this other than the strong smell. Besides that, I definitely recommend this glue.

Tip Glues Shut and Fumes Leave Hardened White Residue
VX•December 28, 2017
This stuff works. But, as others have said, no matter how hard you try, the tube will glue shut so that you will either be unable to get the cap back off or the opening will be filled with hardened glue thus blocking any glue from getting out. I have used this dozens of times and even when I meticulously make sure there is no excess glue anywhere near the end of the tip and shut the cap down tight, the glue in the tip will dry. Trying to get some out will result in glue on your fingers.
Also, wherever this glue lands, there will be white residue from the fumes all around the glued area, even where no glue was present.

This stuff is the best BUT you will need to clean the entire glue ...
That Girl•November 26, 2017
This stuff is the best BUT you will need to clean the entire glue nozzle, with acetone polish remover or something similar, after each use because if you don't and the cap gets glued on there is really no way to force it open. The tube itself is very easy to tear a hole in and then you have a big mess.
Didn't affix metal to metal
Shauna P.•September 16, 2017
Didn't stick metal to metal. Just made a gloppy mess that I had to later pick off so the pieces could be repaired properly. Maybe this is designed for costume jewelry repairs that aren't visible, but I don't see a difference between this and Krazy Glue.
