I haven't used this vermiculite yet. I'm sure it's fine. Just wanted the provider and/or sender to know that the bag had a hole and vermiculite was clinging to the other items in the box and in the box itself. After vacuuming and sweeping up it was okay.

It's my opinion that anyone working with really any type of plants should keep vermiculite on hand. I use this as a constant source in all of my soil mixes. No matter the type of plant I always add this stuff. It also works well for cuttings and propagating. It's good for seed starting really just about any application this has a purpose. This along with perlite are the 2 absolute must have items I will never be without. I grow everything from all of my garden plants from seed to cuttings from my meyer lemon tree. I have grapefruit, oranges, strawberries, blueberries and many many more. There isn't much I dont grow. It's one of my absolute favorite and most fulfilling hobbies. If u take gardening seriously u should make this purchase. Hope this helps out anyone that enjoys growing like I do.
