Don't buy...doesn't work! Junk!
I will not recommend this item to any one

First of all, the structure of the cutter is not made of a durable material. it is made of a soft plastic. The area that holds the two cutters are made of plastic, when pressure is applied from the bottle it gets forced in and the blade is no longer visible, therefore the cutter becomes of no use. I had the chance to score one glass bottle, then the blade was no longer visible.
while trying to cut a bottle i had to hold the stand steady because it keeps moving backwards.I have a glass cutter made at home and it is actually doing what i expected this cutter to do. This item should be made with a more durable material and especially the cutters should be installed in a metallic case not a plastic one.
Now to people who read review, understand that ppl who write them has had experience with the item already.
I had greater expectations for this item. I will not recommend this item to any one, being an experienced individual with cutting glass.
I do hope the company will revise their product and introduce a better quality item. until then... It is of no use.

Not worth the money.

Very disappointed with this product and not worth the money. I knew this would only score the bottle so it can be separated, but couldn't get it to score decently. The one time we did get it to score the bottle, it was an exhausting effort and the score line kept skipping. Shopping around for another bottle cutter option.

Very difficult to use.
Not What I Expected

I had a bottle cutter when I was in my early teens and it worked beautifully. The one I had didn't stand up like this one it lay down and the bottle lay in the cradle. It was easy to use and you got a good score on the bottle. I made all kinds of cool things with it. When I saw this bottle cutter I thought could pick up where I left off and make some cool stuff like I did as a teen. I do crafts and I thought this would help me out. When I received this and got it put together I was very disappointed. I still have yet to cut my first bottle with it. It is way more difficult than my first bottle cutter. I wouldn't recommend this product. To difficult to use.
