Full turn knobs limit installation options
Scottomatic•October 30, 2017
I bought this to use with the basement utility sink. The unit it is replacing is attached to the porcelain sink in the same manner but this one will not install in the same place because the valves are full turn valve and the knobs included with the faucet swing past the area where the porcelain sink is. I'm trying to find a smaller knob that won't hit the tub and I am not having luck; it needs something 2" in diameter or less so as not to hit the porcelain. I may have to return it. I do not understand why they supply the long paddle shaped knobs that are causing this conflict; the only way it could be mounted is with the separately sold block attached somehow up off the sink, which should be included as this piece is not useable without it as sold. If you are wondering how this mounts, there is a third leg in back that you cannot see in the product photo which is tapped for an included set screw.
Great replacement laundry tub faucet value!
Mr. Fix-it•August 20, 2017
I used this to replace an old (50 yr +) Central brand faucet on my laundry tub. Fit in place exactly, while using the top half of the existing union, to avoid having to solder the new union on. The old union was slightly different and didn't require the rubber washer included with the new union (optional, according to other reviews and not existing on the old union). I didn't use the single rear screw mount on the faucet, because it was not reachable in my installation, but instead, made two copper straps to go aound the front fingers shown in the picture. Looks like it might last another 50 years!
... relatively inexpensive faucet for a laundry tub that installs pretty easily and works smoothly
Mohan S.•August 18, 2017
This is a relatively inexpensive faucet for a laundry tub that installs pretty easily and works smoothly. Obviously, it's not a showpiece faucet, but the brass seems to be of high quality and there's no limiter to slow down the water flow when you need to fill a big tub fast. Assuming you have the threaded connections on your supply lines already, or are handy with copper pipe soldering, installation is relatively simple.
I did not mount it to the sink directly, but I assume it works easily with a mounting block of some sort.

Good Product. Missing Washer
Richard B•June 10, 2017
This came with a missing washer that caused the facet to leak after I installed it. I had to supply my own washer and after that it worked fine. There are cheaper units on the market, but this one has longer handles and seems to be made better.
Easy install, no leaks

Easy install to replace an old utility faucet that was leaking. All of the connections lined up perfectly for me. I did use a little thread tape around the threads.
