... J Rob protein for years and have been very happy with it
Joe✓ Verified PurchaseMay 22, 2018
I have been using the J Rob protein for years and have been very happy with it. Just received my new order today, I thought it tasted too sweet and different, I now I'm disappointed to see they have xylitol as a sweetener. Probably going to throw this out and I just order the Palio protein that is completely natural with no chemicals added. And if your truly into healthy food, you really don't need sugar in your diet. If you really need something this sweet to drink, you might as will just go drink a regular milkshake. The whole point of taking a protein like this is to keep crap out of your diet. Natural healthy foods is definitely the way to go. I think it's turning into a sissy drink.
Love it, but change the packaging please?

It took me multiple tries before I found the ONE dairy-free/gluten-free protein that worked for me. I've been hooked since. All flavors are yummy, but depending on the batch it can clump a little, but it's not too bad. The one thing I don't care for is the bag. Whenever I get a scoop the protein gets all over my hand and if there's air in the bag it blows out on to the counter. No matter
how careful I am, it happens each time and I have to wash my hand and clean the counter. It's annoying. I know the company is trying to be green, but can you find another way to package the product please? It's such a waste of protein and money. Also, the pinch and seal works at first until it wears off.

The flavor is ok, the price is high for what you are getting. My biggest complaint is that it requires an act of Congress to get this to dissolve. You can get it somewhat smooth using a blender - do not even bother trying to mix it by hand or you will have a golf ball sized chunk of protein goo that has the consistency of gummy bears. Would not recommend this product and will not be purchasing again.
It's not bad, stop complaining

Bought this to help better regulate my protein throughout the day. One scoop of this equals 8 hours of protein (3 grams / hour) being processed by your body. Way better than trying to consume 4 eggs twice a day on top of a Whey post work out drink.

Almost didn't grab it because I saw people complaining it's thick, doesn't blend well, too sweet or tastes bad. But if you have a decent blender, get a bullet, you will have zero problem mixing. If you are using a shaker then don't expect it to blend as easily. As for the taste, I grabbed the chocolate and mix it with 8 ounces of milk and some ice cubes -- believe me it really doesn't taste bad. No it's doesn't taste like a chocolate milkshake from McDonald's either lol but people make it sound like it's wretched and it is not true.

Hope that helps clear things up for someone on the fence about trying it. Just grab the smallest size so you can be sure. Well worth having a egg protein as part of your diet and this one has been flashed which is important.
Won't mix!

I have tried every way conceivable to get this to mix with milk with no luck. Whether I use a spoon, fork, mixer, or a shaker...It simply doesn't mix! The result is a clumpy mess and whatever instrument I use is covered in a hard to remove concrete. Couple that with the premium price the company charges...I'm done. Never again!
