I've bought this several times for myself and have gifted it to a couple of friends. Love the texture of the paint, easy to blend and the sample tray has the right colors, and just enough paint to last a long while. I still have all the colors, just run out of black and white.

One of the colors left staining on one of the kids skin. They may have not washed it off correctly. Seemed to be a good affordable kit.

This is a basic kit but it works. I got it for myself for Halloween makeup. I'm a makeup artist and will be doing a few different looks so it's nice to have the basic colors. If you are a parent getting this it's great b/c they have instructions on how to do a few different kid friendly looks. It dries fairly quickly. I also would recommend spraying it with water instead of dipping your brush b/c if the paint is too wet it gets really thin. The finish is not bad and it won't smear or anything b/c it dries like actual paint. That being said, on my face it does flake a little. Not anything that ruins the makeup but you will definitely have little dust like flakes. Oh, and you can definitely build this in layers or paint over other colors as well. Overall, it works well for Halloween.

I was very happy with the paints as they provided hours of fun for kids at the Racine Co. Fairgrounds Kids Day. The young women from my schools Art Club who painted faces had great things to say about the smoothness and mix-ability of the colors. After our 4 hours were over, I threw away all the other paints I'd been using for years. My two gripes - and I never contacted the company about this - we were missing a red from one of the 4 boxes. And while the paints lasted a long time, and I have paints left, the trays were pretty shallow, I thought there'd be more paint. Otherwise - great product. I highly recommend this if you are looking for face paint. (Bring your own brushes though... 3 gripes)

Snazaroo is simply the best face paint. Probably good enough for professionals but I'm just a regular parent who uses it for kids parties and events. It is the only one I have found that doesn't crumble and that actually looks good on. It makes me look like I do a whole lot better job than I really am doing. I highly recommend this product. It is great for older kids to use on themselves as well. If you plan on doing "full-face" I would recommend getting an extra white because it seems to run out the fastest. Fortunately, it is sold in a single so it makes a great add-on.
