Works Great.
MorningStar, Sr.September 1, 2017
I thought it would be hard to use, put it worked Great. I used it to bore sight my S&W M&P .40. Along with a green laser sight.
When I went to the range it worked Great. With a few minor adjustments. I was shooting 50/50 in the Bullseye. Never again, will I not use a bore sight. Really saved me money on shells to zeroing it in.
Can use in a 10mm too! Very Bright Red Dot and Very Good Product - Very Happy with my purchase!

I bought this for use in my 10mm because they don't make one for it. But since the .40 S&W is in reality a 10mm Short, I figured it would work. I had to wrap two layers of Scotch tape around the part that fits into the rifling to get it to fit tight enough, but I was able to hit a one gallon jug of water at 40 yards the first shot! After that, it was easy to get it fine tuned to dead zero. Very bright red dot. Very happy with purchase.
Does the job and saves all kinds of time.

I used this on both my M&P Shield as well as my Hi Point. Did great, helped me get everything pretty close to zero. I just had new sites mounted on my Shield. The gunsmith who put it on, did it by "eye" but I could tell they were off a bit. Use this boresight, and I can totally see that it was. Adjusted the sites myself, lined up with the boresight and now I hitting good groups again at the range!
the laser works well for the review stating it does not they can eat a di*k

Everyone one here rating this product low do not know Sh*t about guns. the laser in coming from the base of the barrel that means a bullet will more than likely follow this laser line with a radius of pattern near the laser mark as well. If all the reviews say the laser is a poor way to calibrate cool then let me shoot you after i calibrate with it then. that's what i thought
Buy a different model if you have a modern handgun.

As stated in other reviews, does not accommodate most free floating barrels (basically all five of my pistols). Reads high and right due to interference from the mechanisms. Called Sightmark because I thought I was going crazy, and they confirmed this. Their recommendation was to not use the end cap and to use tape/paper, which makes for inconsistent measurement and flickering laser. Tried on Glock, Sig, HK, S&W, Springfield. All had similar results. High and right depending on ejector interference.
