good quality for my husbands business.
Handles fell apart quickly.

The wooden portion of the handles are not securely mounted in the red metal portion of the handles/lopping mechanism, so... not very useful. Older model we borrowed and loved has a screw securing them. As long as you are only lopping tiny branches, they're great!
Bypasses the hassle of shoddy tools with great design and materials.

Amazing quality for the price! Good coat of laquer to prevent the sun from blistering the wood. Nice adjustable fastener that joints the bypass style blade together. I have been able to take out 3" thick branches off cedars and pines on the property with EASE. This thing seriously stands up to a beating. You d have to "ratchet" the cuts on some of the larger stuff to save damaging the tool, but that's true for all loppers.
Great for small jobs, well made, good value

Easy to use size for quick garden pruning. Reaches about 2 feet out. Cuts easily through 1 inch or less stalks. Seems sturdy and well made. A good value for the price and was exactly what I needed for small jobs.
These loppers seemed great in all aspects when I first got them

These loppers seemed great in all aspects when I first got them. Straightforward design, cutting edges seemed to be quite good quality, and your knuckles don't smash together when the loppers fully close.
Unfortunately when I used these for the second time(the first wasn't for more than 15-20 minutes) one handle just fell off. The red metal cap at the end of the wood handle does a very poor job of staying attached to the metal insert from the blade.
Of course I can probably fix it easily by drilling a hole through the wooden handle and through the metal insert and putting a bolt with a lock nut and washer on, but I just don't think a product should fall apart like that under minimal normal usage.
I'd give it a 4 or 5 star rating besides that.
