I had bought these because I wanted to make Christmas ornaments with them. I find them too long, and the gauge of the wire too heavy for me to bend. The covers on one end are not glued on, they are pressed into a rubbery substance inside the cover, so they covers are easily removed removing the need to cut them off for my purposes. They are sturdy and attractive, just not exactly what I wanted.
