I got the medium for my foot. I wear a size 10 1/2 AA womans sneaker.
When I put this on it felt great and made my shoes fit better ( I have small ankles).
But when I wore it all day at work my foot would fall asleep. I guess I was cutting off two much bloodflow.
I wear it for a half a day at a time when walking barefoot or in shoes. It helps relieve healpain.
If it didnt' put my foot to sleep I'd buy another and wear them on both feet becuase it helps my shoes fit better.

I have been wearing heel huggers for a couple of years to relieve my achilles tendonitis. My problem is only with my left heel, so it's fine with me that they are sold as singles rather than a pair. Using these with a good athletic shoe have enabled me to continue walking for fitness. I put on the heel hugger with sock over it and it enables me to walk a couple of miles without the post-walk agony I used to endure. Don't let them slip in the dryer by mistake though, as the life of the hugger will reduced.

Use these over socks when doing daily exercise walks (8-10 miles per day), and they effectively prevent blisters caused by the shoe rubbing up and down on the heel or achille tendon. I find myself wearing them for normal use, as well, because I can tie my shoes more loosely as a result of the heel support, which in turn gives more room and more comfort in the toe box without changing the basic shoe size. I have used them daily for years, and they generally stand up to daily usage for about four or five months; the weak spot is the stitching that runs along the center line of the bottom of the piece and up the center of the back of the heel (snapshot attached of the stitching just starting to tear open). This stitching tends to come apart after several months. If you don't put the same level of constant usage, you can probably expect them to last a year or longer.

I like this product, however; it is advised that a woman who wears a size 11 shoe should order a Medium. I have narrow feet and thin ankles, but should have ordered a Large. The top portion is too tight on my foot, so I am presently only wearing the cup insert inside my sneakers. It does seem to help with the pain.

I suffered from plantar fasciitis for years. And yes it hurts mostly after resting and getting up out of bed. You do a few stretches and some steps the pain pretty much goes away for the day. But recently my left foot became much worse and it lingers all day and actually to the point of not being able to walk without a great limp and a crutch to keep the weight off that foot. I know you might think I'm just being a baby about it but no. It's extremely painful all day. Then I found I was also suffering from achilles tendonitis and now it all makes sense. But these huggers actually hug the sides of the heel just right pressure to relieve both conditions, achilles and fasciitis. After months and months of seeing the doctor, icing, heating, elevating, staying in bed, using properly arched shoes and sandals ($150 and didn't help at all), using a boot at night (which I still plan to do because it does help), xray, MRI, of which showed no tears, breaks, spurs, or anything. I wore this hugger for the first with my sandals and spent a day on my feet in NYC, and to my surprise, I was able to walk. Don't get me wrong, it didn't go away yet, but the severity was gone and after a full day of no rest for my feet. And that was the first day of use. This product is worth purchasing. I will have to buy more because fasciitis is a condition that keeps re-entering your life.
