I bought this to help with my achilles bursitis and it doesn't help much. I was hoping it would provide more compression and more cooling power. The gel packs only stay cold for maybe 5-10 minutes at best (after being in the freezer all day). Nevertheless, I do wear this at night to give a tiny bit of compression to help with swelling which is better than none. I wear the copper compression socks during the day and they're excellent for reducing swelling but they're very tight so I like to give my feet a rest during the night!
