The product seems great until you try to reset the password to one you choose. It's very difficult to hold in a button, hold down the cable tip and turn the numbers. I had to take my finger off now I have no idea what the combination is and it's not letting me reset. A total waste of money. It shouldn't take all this to reset a combination

Visual deterrent but 100% ineffective, fresh out of the package, at providing any type of safety or security. Total waste of money! I thought 3.5 stars would provide an adequate product but was clearly wrong. I should've read the reviews!

This lock doesn't feel very strong or secure. I'm sure someone could pull really hard or even cut the lock. I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith into my stroller being secure but it is super easy to use and very small and lightweight. It comes in handy for us when we go to Disneyland. We go to the resort frequently since we are Passholders and although we doubt anyone would steal our stroller at the happiest place on earth, it gives us the peace of mind that maybe they wouldn't want to mess with ours since it's tied to a gate or railing or whatever is nearby.

This lock absolutely would NOT work on cabinet doors as shown on the package photo! A child could easily pull enough slack to slip it off the knobs. It will only work if you have handles rather than knobs. Even then, there is a major flaw in the design for all but the very youngest children.
We bought this to replace the simple squeeze-and-release lock on our medicine cabinet when our 5-year-old son opened it for mommy. Unfortunately, when this is locked you can press the cable rewind button and extend the cable out as long as you like. That would be plenty of length to let a curious kid open the doors and reach in.
Would be fine for younger/smaller kids, but after about age two I would predict they will figure this out.

I have a 2,3,4 year old and I am constantly finding the refrigerator door open or all of our "car snacks" eaten up. I wanted something to lock the cabinet and frig to stop this and these are perfect. Now my kids have to come and ask for something and can get something healthy instead of eating half a box of goldfish or gummy bears before I know it. :)
