This worked great for my baby gate- which was slightly too short between my wall space. This wall saver also protects the walls from damage due to the pressure system. It has stood up well to my toddler shaking it (we have had it around 1 1/2 years) and it has not fallen down yet!

I just recently finished my basement and needed to put gates in a couple of places. I was really conscious about destroying our new walls so I decided to try this product out. We have gates all around our house, and all of the paint under all of the tension bars is peeling off. The damage that the tension gates does to your walls is terrible and an eyesore when the gate comes down. These wall savers are awesome. They just slip over the end of the tension rod and sit between the rod and the wall. These have saved my walls and I have no more chipping or peeling paint. I have a few different brands of gates and this fit over all of the ones I own.

These baby gate wall stops work great with the Summer Infant Multi-Use Deco Extra Tall Walk-Thru Gate. I attached some pictures of how the stops worked with the gate and installed very easily. I highly recommend you get these wall savers. These work by allowing you put disperse the pressure over the wall and not cause any damage to the drywall
