Keeps the door open where we want it...mostly.

This is better than a wedge shoved under the door since it stops the door from moving on BOTH sides (with a little wiggle room).
We set it up so our cats can get through the door but the dogs can't...usually. Sometimes one of our dogs can push the door open or closed if he tries hard enough and the whole contraption slides along the kitchen floor. I suspect if a toddler did this, fingers still would be protected.
The one that is on the garage door works less well since the door frame lifts the door higher off the floor.
It's easy to remove just by gently pushing with your foot on either of the arches. The door slides over the plastic arch you have just stepped on, and the Door Stopper is left where it was originally set up.
It's not perfect, there's movement, but at least I don't have to turn upside down to remove it.
