Hardy, long-lasting start with good flavor

I have had excellent luck with this yogurt start. I've been using this product for over a year. This is my second order. The starts I have had for one year still work perfectly. I do store them in my basement which is cool and dry. Also, I make several batches from the previous made batch so that I don't use a new start very often. I don't know how many times I could make yogurt from a previous batch because I run out of energy to keep it going before the start stops working. I have gone as long a one month several times between batches and it still works just fine. I put a small amount of freshly made yogurt in a clean, small glass jar with a lid to keep it from contamination and save it in the frig until ready to make a new batch later. The flavor is good, more flavor than store bought yogurts which I've come to think of as pretty bland.
Highly recommend it!

I followed the instructions to produce the first batch of my homemade yogurt with store-bought organic whole cow's milk. Yummy! It reminds me of the yogurt I ate twenty years ago. It is a bit sour so I'd like to add in a few drops of honey. In my opinion it is what real yogurt should be. Highly recommend the yogurt starter!
You will never want to have store bought yogurt again

So thick and creamy and delicious! I've even tried using old yogurt as a started and it's just not the same. So easy to make your own yogurt with this starter. If you love yogurt, you have to try making your own using this amazing starter :-)

The yogurt is super bitter. I used Dannon (SCD Legal) as a starter for two previous batches and they were great tasting. This product produces VERY bitter yogurt. It's okay, but may benefit from the addition of honey.
Very good product
