AMAZING PERFORMANCE
David L.•October 19, 2017
Amazing, not only are my favorite a.m. stations clear now, I picked up a few more that I never could get. At first I had a background noise, it was caused by a faulty surge protector, replaced that, and the noise went away. I tell you this, so you won't pack up the antenna and send it back, because of a problem caused by your own equipment. Don't worry if you have to put the antenna in a remote location, I adjusted it once, the adjustment is good for the entire band, you never have to adjust it again.
Worked for me.

I have a am/fm receiver with disc player and I can hook up this receiver to my tv set using audio/video cables. That meant my am radio was badly degraded. I bought this and hooked it up to my radio and it helped big time, just about all the static was gone. It is still hooked up to my tv and I
don't have to get a separate speaker for it. I just press AUX and play tv sound through receiver. You have to find the right angle and then turn the knob on the antenna and use the hook up or else it doesn't work. Now I can listen to talk and sports radio. Great purchase.

Works great as advertised

Works great as advertised, but it would have been nice if it also came with a cable with 3.5 mm tips on both ends, instead of just the included one that has bare wires on one end and a 3.5 mm tip on the other.
The antenna itself is good, but the supplied antenna cable is a disaster
Redpawn•December 11, 2016
The antenna itself is good, but the supplied antenna cable is a disaster. The supplied cable is coaxial but the antenna and AM tuners want balanced line. This means that the signal is dropped by about 5/6 going from the antenna to the cable and another 5/6 on the way to the tuner. The signal is reduced to about 1/36 strength which will make signals sound about a third as strong (it is a logarithmic function).
The antenna works as designed when used with regular twin lead from the antenna. Just add twists to the line like the antenna supplied with your tuner.
If you don't want to source another wire which is not coaxial, you can stand the loop antenna which comes with your tuner inside the Kaito antenna in the same plane, wire tie it in place and it will work about as well as with twin lead antenna cable.
With the supplied cable, I'd rate it 1 star, with twin line cable, I'd rate it 4 stars.

so far not that impressed, I can tell it helps some but not any where as much as I was hoping for and what others seemed to indicate it helped,
