I'm using this has a component in my computer's system. It produces deep clean bass. I don't crank my volume up hard because this is in my office so I don't know how well it'll take a punch, but it does work very well for my needs.

smaller than the monoprice select 8 incher that i have but doesn't work. this one seems to sound louder, i wonder if it's because the woofer fires downward and makes better use of the against-the-wall location. in my 12 x 22 living-dining room i only need the "11:30" position for sound level, that's enough power for my music and more than enough for movies. my spkrs are the superzeros 2.1 and i cut off at about 100 hertz. now the spkrs aren't forced to play freq that aren't their forte, and the midrange sounds more accurate and relaxed.
I'm very pleased with this inexpensive sub; recommended!

Add this to my Computer Audio composed of Micca MB42 bookshelf speakers and a LEPY Lp-168HA amp. Although the MB42s are great , they didn't quite fill out the base. I have set the gain pretty low just enough to start getting a hint of the base, but makes a hugh difference.
